Walid Fayad


Dr Walid Fayad joined Partners in Performance in January 2019 as a Director, assuming the role of joint Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions. Prior to joining Partners in Performance, Walid served as Executive Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he co-founded the firm’s MENA business. Walid led the MENA energy, environment, infrastructure, and operations practices, while also heading the firm’s people agenda in the region.

He brings over 20 years' experience in management consulting, with McKinsey, Booz and Company and Booz Allen Hamilton, having led an abundant number of diverse strategy and transformation projects across industries, including energy and environment, the public sector, telecommunications, and family-owned conglomerates. He serves as Vice Chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab and sits on a number of other advisory boards.

Walid has a PhD in Electronic Materials with a thesis in microchip reliability, and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. He also earned the Diplome d’Ingenieur de l’Ecole Centrale Paris and the Diplome d’Ingenieur des Arts et Manufactures from Ecole Centrale Paris, France.
