Ekaterina Ponkratova

Introduction

With Everest’s peaks in her sights, it’s easy to see that Ekaterina isn’t afraid of a challenge - an attribute that she brings to her role as a Manager here at Partners in Performance. Climbing mountains is her thing, but it’s on flatter ground where she clocks up the most miles through her passion for running, her commitment to which has even seen her complete a marathon. She’s obviously got a thing for heights, though, saying that the canyons of Arizona is one of the most memorable destinations she has ticked off. When her feet are on the ground, they’re under a desk in Russia, although her career has already taken her to Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, UAE and we’re sure it won’t be long before she’s up and away on another adventure.

Ekaterina has a head for numbers and has been crunching them through seven years’ experience in consulting across a range of industries including oil and gas, metals and mining, construction and transportation. She brings considerable experience in operational improvement, cost optimisation, procurement and contractor management, and has been instrumental in various large efficiency improvement programmes that have resulted in significant savings and productivity improvements for these businesses.
