Meet our people

Jonathan Scarlett

Jonathan loves being home in Toronto with his wife and daughter to build forts, canoe, kayak and to watch the Toronto Blue Jays win. Like all good Canadians, he’s a hockey player as well. His dream is to visit every Major League Baseball stadium and he’s well on his way. His work with Partners in Performance in the United States helps quite a bit, as he can make a few pit stops while in the states.

Before he joined, Jonathan spent three years with a Canadian oil and gas company as an engineer. This practical experience helped him to quickly become successful, helping clients with process improvement, project management, business plan development, and accounting. Working on projects within mining, manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, human resources, operations and finance has sent him overseas to Namibia, Australia and the United States before coming home to spend some time with his family.

Jonathan is on the right track. He loves growing with his work friends near and far and, we must say, they don’t mind being on this board game strategist’s team during an intense competition:

I joined after completing my MBA, and coming from an operational background before going back to school, I realised the importance of having people drive strategy and improvement initiatives through completion. When recommending Partners in Performance to prospective candidates, I always focus on my colleagues. I love the fact that I am challenged daily by my peers to be my best, and ensure we are consistently delivering value to our clients. Additionally, I love that I am given the opportunities to demonstrate my abilities to deliver and grow into my next role.

Golf, hockey and baseball might be fun ways for Jonathan to spend a Saturday afternoon, but nothing beats the time he gets to make memories with his family. One that tops the list? A trip to the South of France where he got to watch his young daughter be adventurous and explore the markets. She made Dad proud when she didn’t shy away from different kinds of new foods.
