Mario Tanchoco

Ramon ‘Mario’ Tanchoco recently joined after four years as a retail risk manager at HSBC Philippines. As part of this role, he was responsible for overseeing the end-to-end life cycle for several retail credit products. Marion is adept at preparing comprehensive financial models, business plans, and targeted acquisition strategies. He has played critical roles in projects that required him to handle portfolio management and implement process streaming initiatives.

He’s not however, a man who can sit still for long. Away from his desk, you’ll likely find him with a dashing around a field, competing in Ultimate Frisbee. He’s not afraid of getting out of his comfort zone, he loves climbing mountains and hopes to do a skydive one day, as well as travel into the depths of South America. On the occasion that he does take time to slow down, it’s still with an element of thrill - watching horror movies, drinking hot chocolate or enjoying a meal (he says the food in Kyoto, Japan, still can’t be beat though).
