Meet our people

Renat Akimbitov

Introduction

Renat knows the importance of keeping his brain strong, which is why he plays brain-teasing games like Lumosity daily. His clients appreciate it as it helps him come to work with a focused mind. Another thing he is trying to keep strong is his table tennis game, which he aims to beat colleagues in CIS in after work when they hang around for social hour.

Renat has been a part of Partners in Performance since 2013, when he joined us to help clients with operational improvement and line management. He is particularly proud of helping a Russian gold mine achieve a significant increase in production. Renat has worked across mining, construction, science research, FMCG and e-commerce in his home base of Russia, along with Australia, Kazakhstan and UAE.

Unleashing potential is what we do best, so it makes sense that it comes to mind when Renat thinks of Partners in Performance:

The most frequent word I heard, prior to joining, was ‘results’, and when I started working here I saw that all those words about a constant focus on results were true. That’s why I joined; and that’s why I love working here. The value in what we help our clients achieve is simply infectious. This coupled with the values, which aren’t just skin deep, but really do form the basis to how people behave and act on an everyday basis, makes it a great place to work. Partners in Performance unleashes not only the potential of the client but also that of its own people.

Renat speaks highly of his travels to Alazan Valley in Georgia. He tells us the people are very hospitable, the views are fantastic, and you can always find great food made from simple ingredients. He already wakeboards, but one activity he would still like to try is surfing. Maybe he’ll have the opportunity next time he has a project in Australia!
